Young and Old Latest Death From COVID-19 In Jamaica

According to recent reports, a 17-year-old boy and a 50-year-old woman, who both lived in St. Catherine, are the latest persons to die from COVID-19 in Jamaica.

The country’s death toll from the virus has now grown to 227.

The Health Ministry is said to be investigating another death.

To date, Jamaica’s COVID-19 cases now stand at 9,723.

Eighty-nine new cases were confirmed on Thursday.

Jamaica recorded its first case of coronavirus on Tuesday, March 10.
