World Under-20 100m Champion Clayton Places Third In Opener

Tina Clayton, the 2-time world Under-20 100m champion, was a third-place finisher in her debut overseas meet as a professional athlete at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas, recently.

Clayton clocked 7.38 seconds to finish behind American winner Jada Baylark who clocked 7.23 seconds, and Natasha Morrison, 7.30.

Clayton had earlier run 7.24 seconds in the prelims.
