Workers Give Amazon Nosebleed In New York

There was no letup in New York when Amazon workers took to the poll to vote for a trade union to represent their interests.

This is the first time the company will have to meet a trade union at the bargaining table since its U.S. operations.

Workers at a warehouse in New York voted 55% in favor of joining the Amazon Labor Union.

The group is led by former Amazon worker Chris Smalls, who made his name protesting against safety conditions at the retail giant during the pandemic.
