US Job Report: A Strong Recovery In September

The US job market showed signs of strength and resilience in September, as employers added a stunning 336,000 jobs, far exceeding the expectations of economists and analysts.

The unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.8%, near a 50-year low, while the labor force participation rate also stayed steady at 63.2%. The average hourly earnings increased by 8 cents to $31.03, a 4.1% annual increase.

The inflation rate, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), rose by 0.6% in August, a 5.3% annual increase.
