These include Japan, South Korea, and India.
According to a press report, China was also on the list, but discussions with the U.S. were still ongoing.
The press report also noted that the waivers are temporary with Washington expecting the countries on the list to gradually reduce their imports of Iranian crude.
Since Trump’s administration took office, the Iranian government has come under a lot of criticisms and is blamed for stirring up trouble in the Middle East.
The latest sanctions on Iran is set to become effective on Monday.
