U.S. Coronavirus Cases Ratchet Up To Over 2.4 Million

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in its latest report, stated that there are just over 2.4 million cases of coronavirus in the country.

This was an increase of 40,588 cases from its previous count.

The CDC said the number of deaths had risen by 2,516 to 124,325.

The CDC figures do not necessarily reflect cases reported by individual states.
