Twitter’s Revenue Shows Positive Sign…

but user growth below projections

TwitterTwitter has reported a rise in revenue for the three months to September, but the company missed analysts’ expectations with slow user growth numbers.

The social networking site reported revenues of US$569 million, up 58 per cent from $361 million during the same period last year.
It also said monthly active users were up 11 per cent year-on-year, to 320 million. Compared with the previous quarter, however, active users grew just 1.2 per cent, disappointing investors.
