Trump’s Decision Puts E.U. In A Spin

The decision by U.S. President Donald Trump to re-impose sanctions on Iran has put European countries in a spin as they scramble to find ways to safeguard huge business deals with Iran.

In 2015, the U.S. along with its E.U. allies lifted sanctions from Iran in a deal that would see the country aborting plans for its nuclear development.

Following the agreement, major European firms have rushed to do billions of dollars’ worth of business with Iran; however, everything now seems to be in a quandary.

Many of those firms fear their business ties with the U.S. could be at risk if they continue to do deals with Iran past a November deadline.
