Trump Seeks To Give China Second Round Trade Knockout

U.S. President Donald Trump up the ante by placing tariffs on Chinese goods following an earlier round of tariffs recently.

The tariffs are expected to hit about $200 billion worth of imports from China.

It will affect a wide range of electronic parts and consumer goods such as handbags.

It remains unclear when the new import taxes – which could be as high as 25% – will go into effect.

China has promised to retaliate by imposing their own tariffs on U.S. imported goods.
