President Trump stepped up his game on Saturday by launching an attack on NBC and its journalist Charles David “Chuck” Todd.

Chuck Todd, the 12th moderator of NBC’s Meet the Press and host of MTP Daily on MSNBC has earned the wrath of Trump because of perceived failure by the network in not devoting more attention to the claims that President Obama spied on him.

Furthermore, Trump’s angst with the media is that it should stop covering the investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election which he referred to as fake news and focused more on his administration’s success. 

“When will Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd and @NBCNews start talking about the Obama SURVEILLANCE SCANDAL and stop with the Fake Trump/Russia story?” Trump tweeted just before 9 a.m.

“It is the same Fake News Media that said there is ‘no path to victory for Trump’ that is now pushing the phony Russia story. A total scam!” he added shortly after.
