According to press reports, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr. Keith Rowley has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement Tuesday morning, the Office of the Prime Minister said Dr. Rowley started experiencing flu-like symptoms late Monday.

He was subsequently tested for the virus.

The Prime Minister is now in isolation and under medical supervision.
