No Mas!
The Jamaica Reggae Boyz worked hard but without any pay as they failed to impress in their Concacaf Gold Cup quarter-final encounter against the U.S. at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night.
They crashed out of the competition losing 0-1 to an impressive U.S. outfit.
The dangerous frontman, FC Schalke’s Matthew Hoppe, got the all-important goal in the 83rd minute.
This is the second time Jamaica’s dream was being transformed into a nightmare by the U.S. as they were also eliminated from the competition by the same team in 2019, albeit at the semi-final stage.
Sunday night’s elimination is a massive setback for the football program in Jamaica — the Boyz made it to the semi-finals in the previous three editions of the biennial tournament.
