Reggae Girlz Call Up For Camp

According to a press release, top Jamaican international star footballer Khadija Shaw, and Florida State’s Jody Brown are among 24 women who were called up for camp by the JFF announced on Saturday.

Shaw, touted to be one the best strikers of the ball, has scored goals at will throughout her career thus far.

At the end of the 2022–23 season, she scored 31 goals in 30 games in all competitions for Manchester City and was named the club’s player of the season.

Twenty of her goals were in the Women’s Super League, missing out on the Women’s Super League Golden Boot by two goals to Rachel Daly, after leading the top scorer charts for the majority of the season.

Shaw’s goal against Arsenal on 2 April 2023 was voted the club’s Goal of the Season.

Brown, a rising star, has helped her team, the Seminoles, to a 17-3-3 record so far this season.

The players will go into the camp from June 11th to June 20th.
