When the Reggae Boyz hits the road in September to play in the CONCACAF Nations League, they’ll do so with some new faces.
Two players, defender Tayvon Gray and forward Renaldo Cephas, will be suiting up for the team for the first time.
Gray is a 21-year-old who plies his trade for New York City FC in the U.S. Major League, and Cephas is a former Arnett Gardens star who recently moved to Turkish side MKE Ankaragucu from Macedonia.
The team will also include UK-based defender Greg Leigh, who is making a return, as does midfielder Kasey Palmer, who plays for Coventry City in the Championship.
Four players who were in the recent Gold Cup squad have been withdrawn. They include Kaheem Parris, Kemar Lawrence, Javain Brown, and Jonathan Russell.
The 23-man squad will also include regulars Andre Blake, Damion Lowe, Ethan Pinnock, Adrian Mariappa, Daniel Johnson, Bobby Reid, Leon Bailey, Michail Antonio, Demarai Gray, Cory Burke, Shamar Nicholson and teenage sensation Dujuan Richards,
The Reggae Boyz will play Honduras on September 8 and Haiti on September 13, both matches at the National Stadium.
