Jamaica and Mexico find themselves tied at 2-2 after 45 minutes of Concacaf Nations League football inside the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
Jamaica opened the scoring through Bobby Reid in the 7th minute of play but were pegged back by Orbelin Pineda’s 17th-minute equalizer.
The Reggae Boyz would regain their lead thanks to an Edson Alvarez own goal in the 32nd minute of play but after a weather delay, the Mexicans would restore parity from the penalty spot through Hirving Lozano’s 47th-minute effort.
Despite a more than creditable performance inside the famed Azteca Stadium, the Reggae Boyz, however, have crashed out of contention in the CONCACAF Nations League.
A win for the Jamaicans would have seen them advancing to the semi-finals. Mexico finished as group winners on 8 points, two more than Jamaica.
