It also stated that a security firm was now in control of the beach, and it has since been closed to facilitate improvement works.

Puerto Seco Beach is one of the many beautiful beaches that line the North coast in Jamaica. It is located in Discovery Bay, in the Parish of Saint Ann.

The beach is a favorite among natives and tourists because of its shallow waters, stretch of white sands, and the various amenities it provides.

It is also bordered by many different historical attractions, such as the Green Grotto Caves and Columbus Park.
