Preview — West Indies vs. India In Fourth T20I In Florida

The fourth T20I of the five-match series between West Indies and India will be played on Saturday, August 12, at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida.

The match will start at 10:30 am local time (8:00 pm IST) and will be broadcast live locally and internationally.

The series is currently poised at 2-1 in favor of the hosts, who won the first two matches in Trinidad and Tobago by four wickets and seven wickets, respectively.

However, India bounced back in the third match in Guyana, where they chased down 160 with seven wickets and 13 balls to spare, thanks to a brilliant knock of 83 off 44 balls by Suryakumar Yadav.

India will be hoping to continue their winning momentum and level the series in Florida, where they have a good record. They have won four out of six matches at the venue, losing only once to West Indies in 2016.

India has a balanced and experienced squad led by Hardik Pandya, who has been impressive with both bat and ball.

They also have some exciting young talents like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Tilak Varma, who will be eager to prove themselves on the big stage.

West Indies, on the other hand, will be looking to seal the series with a win in the fourth match. They have a formidable batting line-up featuring the likes of Brandon King, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, and newly minted captain Rovman Powell, who can take any bowling attack apart.

Their bowling department is also well-stocked with quality pacers like Alzarri Joseph, Obed McCoy, and Jason Holder, who should be returning to the team after missing the third T20I due to injury.

The pitch at the Florida ground is expected to be flat and conducive for batting, with some assistance for the spinners as well.

The average score at the venue is around 160, which means that a high-scoring encounter is likely. The weather forecast is relatively favorable, with a stray shower or thunderstorm predicted for the afternoon and a temperature of around 97 degrees Fahrenheit/36 degree Celsius.

Both teams will be keen to put up a strong performance and entertain the fans in Florida, who will witness international cricket after a gap of two years.

It promises to be a thrilling contest between two of the best T20 teams in the world.
