Radio Jamaica Sports understands that Jamaican all-rounder Rovman Powell is being tipped to be the vice-captain for the West Indies T-20 team.

Shai Hope was named as Nicholas Pooran’s deputy for the 50-over format, but no name was mentioned as vice-captain for the Twenty20 Internationals.

Powell has the experience of captaining the West Indies in three One Day Internationals on a tour to Bangladesh in December 2018, and in recent years, led the Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premeir League.
