Pop singer Taylor Swift has topped Forbes’ annual list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities with $170 million, more than doubling her previous high of $80 million, which was set last year.
Swift is ahead of fellow chart-topping pop singers Adele at Number 9 with $80.5 million, Madonna at number 12 with $76.5 million, Rihanna at Number 13 with $75 million and Katy Perry at Number 63 with $41 million.
Swift’s DJ ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris landed at Number 21 on the magazine’s list with $63 million.
Had they stuck together, Swift and Harris would have bested Beyonce and Jay Z to be the year’s top-earning couple.
Other top 10 earners included boy band One Direction at Number 2 with $110 million, actor-comedian Kevin Hart at Number 6 with $87.5 million and self-proclaimed “king of media” Howard Stern at Number 7 with $85 million.
