Oil Prices Down 1%

World Oil PriceOil prices fell one percent on Friday, ending a two-day rally fueled by short-covering and bargain-hunting.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was down 40 cents, or one per cent, at $41.53 per barrel, after a session low at $41.06.

Brent crude was down 43 cents, or one per cent, at $43.86 per barrel. It earlier fell to $43.51.
