Oil Prices Climb

Oil prices headed higher on Friday on the heels of a fresh slide to one-month settlement lows, but still looked set to register a second straight monthly decline.

June West Texas Intermediate crude rose 26 cents, to $49.23 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
