The price of oil fell to a four-month low on Mondy, influenced by continued fears that stock market issues in China could hit demand for the fuel in that country.
Oil for delivery in September closed trading at a price of US$47.39 a barrel. That’s down 75 cents from Friday.
At current prices, oil is the lowest it has been since late March.
