Music Machine Drake Continues On A Roll

Even back when I wasn’t poppin’
When they told me to take an R&B n*gga on the road
And I told ’em no, and drew for Kendrick and Rocky
I tried to make the right choices with the world watching

With his latest album titled VIEWS creating a storm on the entertainment scene, no one anticipated the execution of a new project from the master rapper so soon.

After all, his latest album VIEWS has been trending at over 1 billion streams while spending its fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The tremendous response to the album since it has been released, a little over two months ago is mind boggling.

Drake has now gained the reputation of being the most streamed artist for 2016.

However, just when one thought that things were going good for Drake, it just got better with the release of his next big thing — “4PM in Calabasas,” his latest project.

This brand new solo drop by the artist has people talking, with some even wondering whether there is a feud brewing between Drake and PDiddy.

The track is inspired by a life lesson given to him by his father: “Mike never tried to rap like Pac, Pac never tried to sing like Mike.” Obviously, Drake didn’t listen — “I always said my mother gave the greatest advice.”

“4PM in Calabasas” also finds him gunning for certain OGs, including Diddy, as there are a few lines that seem to make light of the Bad Boy boss’ classic No Way Out single, “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down.”
