More COVID-19 Cases Push Jamaica’s Total 11,120

Jamaica recorded four new deaths from covid-19 on Saturday, pushing the number of persons dying from the pandemic to 265.

The recent deaths are that of an 84-year-old man from St. Ann, a 57-year-old woman from Trelawny, a 73-year-old man from St. Catherine, and a 79-year-old man from St. James.  

The country also recorded 57 new confirmed Covid-19 cases during the period under review.

Their ages range from five months to 83 years

The country’s COVID-19 count now stands at 11,120 since the infection was confirmed on March 10.
