Pain, Hate, And Cloud Of Darkness
Sasha was beyond shocked! How could this be happening to her, right now at this very minute?
Tears filled her eyes as her mother revealed how she murdered her father. She stared at her mother in disbelief. She didn’t seem like the same lady that took care of her all these years.
Her face looked very familiar, but her demeanour was different. She seemed to be cold and carefree. With every second that went by, she scrambled her brain to find the spot in her childhood that would cause her mother to become this monster.
Who was this lady sitting in front of her? Never in a million years would she imagine she would be here visiting her mother. Just the thought sparked anger and rage inside of her and she became furious.
“How could you do this Ma!” she exclaimed and slammed her palms on the counter. Abe put his arm around her trying to console her.
Seeing the hurt in her daughter’s eyes broke her heart. She felt awful. She wish she could take away the pain from her but she had to do what she had to do and she would do it again if she had to.
“I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive your old lady.” She said softly.
“No, Ma! I don’t think I can. You did this and I hope you rot in here,” she said in rage.
Sasha left without saying goodbye. She couldn’t bring herself to look at her mother anymore.
She spent the next couple of days of her honeymoon in tears. Try and try as Abe did he couldn’t ease the pain she was feeling inside.
By day three, she was ready to take a shower and consume food. She smelt like a zombie and looked and felt like one. She was hungry, starving, and empty.
From the day she last saw her mother she had been silent, she was unable to feel or speak. Abe had been by her side the entire time holding her as the tears fell from her eyes.
It broke his heart to see his wife like this, but he didn’t know what to do. She wouldn’t talk to him. She would only cry and holler in pain.
“Alright, enough of this. I know you are hurting, but it is our honeymoon. Let me take care of you.”
“I am just so hurt.” She finally said after days of silence. “I can’t believe that evil bitch would do that. I hate her, I hate her, I hate her!” she screamed.
Her eyes were swollen and red. She could hardly open her heavy eyes. She was so weak she could hardly stand on her feet on her own.
“I know you hate her now but let me help you. Let me make it better for you,” he said trying to soothe her.
Truth is, he didn’t know how to. She was in pain, and there was nothing he could do about it. Moments later her phone rang. The look on her face suggested it was not good news.
“She’s dead,” she whispered.
