Surprisingly, she was enjoying her night with Bill. She loved how attentive and engaging he was in their conversation. The way he looked her eyes made her feel special in ways she never felt before. She felt so relaxed and calm talking to him. They talked about sports, TV shows, movies, life and their love for animals. It felt like she could talk to him about anything. He told her that he was single and have been single for a while, mainly focusing on his career but was looking for a lady to settle down with. He had dated other girls before but the more he got to know them, the more he realized that they were more interested in his net worth and what he could offer them.
Unfortunately, her date with Mr. Charming was coming to an end. Her mood suddenly changed, and he definitely noticed it.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” He asked, reaching out his hands to meet hers.
“I don’t know, I just feel …..sad.”
“Like you don’t want to leave, right?”
“Yea. To be honest I am liking the conversation and I want to talk some more.” She admitted and blushed as she tried to look away.
“Hey, I have an idea.” He interrupted. “How about you let me take you somewhere? I promise you will like it.”
She looked up at him with a surprised look on her face. It was only the first date, and it probably would send the wrong impression she thought to herself. She could hear her friends Pat and Lia in her head telling her she shouldn’t go, but she really wanted to go. She decided to follow her gut feeling and take Bill up on his offer. “Sure, where to?”
“Somewhere special,” he replied.
Sasha loved a good mystery, and she was liking his mysterious side. He paid the bill and then led her to his yellow Lamborghini sitting at the front of the restaurant.
The ride to the unknown location was awkwardly quiet. She started to think to herself that maybe she should have gone home instead of agreeing to go to some strange place with this total stranger. Feeling like a drunk person sobering up she started to doubt her decision. She held her cell phone and started to compose a text to Pat. She stared at the screen trying to think of what to write. Out of all her friends Pat had been in a relationship the longest and was more experienced and would know what to do. Bill was also her friend, and she wouldn’t set her up with someone dangerous. Before going on the date, Pat went over a few rules and one of the rules was to never go home with the date but give them a reason to want to see her again. Knowing she broke the rules and fear that Pat would be disappointed in her she decided to not let her in on the sudden turn of events.
She looked over to Bill who seemed too focused on getting to the destination. Eventually, the car came to a stop. “We’re here.” He announced.
