U.S. President-elect Joe Biden was in an entrenched position by the end of last week when polls result show Georgia in his win column.
This latest news has put a damper on any hope of an overturned result expected by President Donald Trump.
Mr. Trump, however, can maintain bragging rights as he was set to take home the North Carolina seat.
Edison Research made the projection, which is the only other battleground state with an outstanding vote count that would go to Mr. Trump.
The call has finalized the electoral vote tally at 306 for Mr. Biden to 232 for Mr. Trump.
The numbers gave Mr. Biden, a Democrat, a resounding defeat over Mr. Trump in the Electoral College.
Mr. Biden’s win is equal to the 306 votes Mr. Trump won to defeat Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Mr. Trump is yet to concede; however, the Biden campaign has reiterated that it is moving ahead with transition efforts.
