Jamaica national 200 meter champion, Elaine Thompson continued her winning ways by clocking a meet record of 10.90 second to win the 100 meters at the IAAF World Challenge meet in Madrid, Spain.
Andrew Fisher of the University of Technology dipped below 10 seconds for the first time, recording a personal best 9.94 seconds for second in the men’s 100m, which was won by American Mike Rodgers in 9.88.
Michael Frater, another Jamaican Michael Frater was 7th in 10.19.
Rusheen McDonald finished fourth in the men’s 400M in 45.04 seconds, in a race that was won by the outstanding 18 year old, Abelelah Haroun, of Qatar, in 44.63.
National record holder, Jason Morgan, was 4th in the men’s discus, with a best throw of 59.32 meters.
