There is no stopping the Jamaican 2-time world 200-meter champion Shericka Jackson.
She avenged her defeat to American Sha’Carri Richardson in the 100 meters at the World Championships in Budapest to capture the Diamond Trophy for the event on Saturday’s opening day of the final Diamond League meet in Eugene, Oregon.
Jackson showed her class by upping her game to win in 10.70 seconds, while two-time double Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah produced another season’s best effort, clocking 10.79 seconds for third, while Richardson was a distant fourth in 10.80 seconds.
Another Jamaican, Natasha Morrison logged a personal best of 10.85 seconds for sixth.
