Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz Spank Haiti To Be In CONCACAF Gold Cup Semis

An early strike by U.K. based forward Giles Barnes gave Jamaica a 1-0 quarterfinal win over Haiti in the CONCACAF Gold cup tournament at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Saturday.

Starting fast and striking early, Jamaica soaked up a lot of pressure, before pushing back Haiti in the final 15 minutes when the Bouz seem to be stronger in their matches so far.

The Reggae Boyz will face nemisis the U.S.A in one semifnal on Wednesday at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, following the US’s 6-0 demolition of Cuba in their quarterfinal.

On Sunday, Trinidad & Tobago plays Panama at 3:30pm local time in the quarterfinal action, followed by Mexico against Costa Rica.
