Jamaica’s Death Toll Rises To 721

With eight more COVID-19 deaths, Jamaica’s death toll from the plague has now moved to 721.

The Corporate Area (Kingston & St Andrew), Westmoreland, St Mary, St Ann, Portland, and Hanover contributed to the latest death count.

Two additional death are said to be under investigation.

Cases of the virus have also now risen to 43,684, with 211 new infections recorded by the end of the week. 

There are now 23,052 active COVID-19 cases in Jamaica.
