Jamaica’s COVID Cases Now Over 50,000

Jamaica’s COVID-19 case count has increased to 50,054.

Forty-nine new cases were confirmed from 459 samples on Sunday.

This represents a positivity rate of 9.2 per cent.

The death toll remains at 1,061.

There are now 103 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in the country.

Eight of the cases are critical.
