Jamaica’s COVID-19 Positivity Rate Up

Jamaica’s COVID-19 positivity rate has increased to nine percent.

Sixty-seven cases were confirmed on Monday from 1,100 samples.

There has been a further decline in COVID-19 hospitalizations in Jamaica.

The Ministry of Health says 121 patients remain hospitalized, down from 134 on Sunday.

Thirteen of the patients are severely ill while 10 are in critical condition.

A centenarian in St. Elizabeth is the latest person to die from COVID-19, increasing the death toll to 2,814.
