Jamaica’s COVID-19 positivity rate has declined to 7.4 percent, the lowest since the second wave of the virus.
Jamaica reported 74 new cases over the past 24 hours.
Kingston had the highest number — 16 cases.
The country’s overall case count is now 46,782.
A 24-year-old woman from St. Catherine is among three persons who are the latest to die from the virus in Jamaica.
The other two deaths are a 72-year-old woman from St. Mary and a 66-year-old St. Catherine woman.
Jamaica’s COVID-19 death toll is now 809.
