Jamaica is referred to by many names, but one that is easily accepted by all — paradise!
The physical beauty of the country is said to be nature’s gift to mankind.
The country has some of the most spectacular landscape and scenic mountain terrains. In addition, its wonderful weather and fertile soil give rise to rich lush and green vegetation all year round. There are also many unspoiled natural places, and the number of astonishing water falls, and pristine and gorgeous beaches make the place breathtaking and just priceless to visit.
That said, one of the beaches in the country that could be described as an outlier is Boston Beach. What makes it an outlier is the fact that it is nestled at the northeastern end of the island and not on the north coast where most tourists tend to converge.
Nevertheless, Boston Beach is equally as good if not better than many of the other popular beaches on the north coast.

Boston Beach is located about nine miles from Port Antonio, the capital of the parish of Portland.
The beach was donated to the people and government of Jamaica by Robin Moore the American writer who is known for his books such as, The Green Berets, The French Connection: A True Account of Cops, Narcotics, and International Conspiracy and, with Xaviera Hollander and Yvonne Dunleavy, The Happy Hooker: My Own Story as well as many others.
This beach is popular for both its wide range of water sports activities such as windsurfing, surfing, and kayaking as well as other activities. It is less crowded compared to other beaches and offers a much more idyllic setting.
Its crystal clear water, white soft sand, and the hospitality of locals are a great draw to this beach. It is also excellent for swimming, relaxation, and sunbathing.
Visitors can also take advantage of the reasonably price guest accommodations that include all-inclusive hotels, as well as a good variety of bars and restaurants nearby where one can enjoy music, food, and tropical beverages.
Moreover, the famous Boston jerk pork and chicken are a popular delight and favorite for visitors. Boston is also said to be the place that gave birth to the now renowned spicy jerk seasoning that is readily available in stores locally and abroad.
There are also many other attractions nearby and those who are interested in eco-tourism Portland is the go-to Parish.
So, go to Boston. There is sea, sand, sunshine and best of all friendly people.
