The Jamaica Tourist Board is not leaving anything to chance and is, therefore, pulling out all the stops to ensure that Jamaica receives maximum mileage from its participation in the 2016 Olympics.
So, as the countdown continues to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the Jamaica Tourist Board has launched its promotional platform that will be mounted at the event.
Jamaica House 2016 was launched recently in Kingston.
According to jtb.com, Jamaica House will run from August 10 to 21 at The Jockey Club, South of Rio.
It will allow for an interactive experience for visitors, bringing Jamaican culture and flavors to the hotspot of Rio de Janeiro.
The Jamaica House concept was first developed during the London 2012 Olympic Games that sought to leverage the global focus on Jamaican athletes.
Jamaica House will promote not only Destination Jamaica and its world class tourism offerings, but also creates an environment for business to business discussions with prospective investors.
There will also be live music each night featuring artists such as Kymani Marley, Luciano, Nature, and I-Octane.
