The latest COVID-19 case count in Jamaica has increased to 49,735.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the virus numbers 1,037.
The latest victims are a 52-year-old woman from St. Elizabeth, an 89-year-old woman who lived in Kingston, and a 55-year-old Westmoreland woman.
The Ministry of Health confirmed 23 new COVID-19 cases from 286 samples, in a recent report.
The positivity rate is 7.7 percent.
The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 has declined to 119, with five critically ill.
