Jamaica And West Indies Batsman Marlon Samuels Finds Form In BPL

Jamaica and West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels is currently showing good form with the bat in the Bangladesh T-20 League.

cricket ball & batThe Windies enigmatic batsman earlier today helped his struggling team Comilla Victorians defeat the Khulna Titans by 5 wickets in the Bangladesh T-20 League.

Chasing 142 to win, the Victorians got to their target in 18.4 overs.

Samuels stroked 69 not out from 57 balls including 8 fours to lead the way for the Victorians.

This is the third half century he was scoring in an attempt to help his team with a fighting chance in the competition.

Earlier, the Titans posted 141-6 off their 20 overs. Mohammed Mahmudallah top-scored with 40 while another West Indian Nicholas Pooran made 14.

Meanwhile, Chris Gayle’s Chittagong Vikings went down by 6 wickets to Andre Russell’s Dhaka Dynamites.

Gayle could not find his batting magic and his team Vikings could only manage to make  a paltry total of 134-6.

Tamim Iqbal top-scored with 74 while Shoaib Malik made 33. Russell took 1-23 while Man of the Match Dwayne Bravo took 3-27.

Russell returned to make 31 not out as the Dynamites replied with 135-4.
