There is no stopping of Jamaica’s two-time World 200 meters Champion Shericka Jackson, on the track.
She continued her winning ways at the Wanda Diamond League, held recently in China.
Although she did not produce a record time, she did well enough to hold off her competitors in a time of 21.82s in a slight 0.8 meters per second headwind.
Jackson hugged the curve well and later turned up the turbo on the stretch leaving Great Britain’s Daryll Neita (22.25s), to finish best of the rest, with American Kayla White (22.33s) in third.
Bahamian Anthonique Strachan, who earlier contested the 100m, placed sixth in 22.65s.
Meanwhile, in the men’s 200 meters, American Noah Lyles, continued his rich vein of form, to capture the event in 19.80s, ahead of compatriot Erriyon Knighton (19.87s), with Great Britain’s Zharnel Hughes (19.94s) in third.
