Israel’s Apocalyptic Footprint In Gaza Is Unacceptable

In my recent commentaries on the Israel-Hamas conflict, I asked the question: How many Gazans must die to assuage Israel’s thirst for vengeance?

In over two months of fighting in the beleaguered strip of land not bigger than St James, this question, to my mind, has become more urgent.

It is becoming clearer by the day that Israel does not seem to care what the answer to this question is.

It is obvious that in the midst of its unrelenting bombardment of Gaza, with its colossal destruction of life and property, any number of lives lost is simply fair game.
