India Declares After Huge Runs Pile Up In Second Test

Cricket BallIndia has declared on 500-9 with a lead of 304 runs over the hapless West Indies on the third day of the second Test match at Sabina Park.

Scores: West Indies 196 (52.3 overs); India 500-9 (171.1 overs)

Ajinkya Rahane, who resumed this morning on 42, continued from where he left off with a workmanlike innings of 108 not out – his seventh Test hundred.

India began the day on 358-5 in reply to West Indies paltry first-innings score of 196 on Saturday’s opening day.

The visitors lead the four-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test in Antigua a week ago.
