The QAnon movement, which spread baseless claims about a secret cabal of powerful elites who abuse children and plot against former President Donald Trump, has fractured after the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and the failure of its predictions to come true.

Some followers have abandoned the movement, while others have doubled down or shifted to other conspiracy theories.
