The historic British Colonial Hilton Hotel in the Bahamas will close its door come next month.
This move will see over 100 hotel employees losing their jobs in the new year.
The owners announced the planned closure of the 300-plus room hotel in downtown Nassau.
According to press reports, Strategic Property Holdings, which manages the property, said the decision to cease operations came after carefully analyzing business performance over an extensive period and the dismal business forecast for the foreseeable future.
