Hero CPL Franchises 2021 Team Rosters Set

Hero CPL 2021 player draft is now set, and players are now raring to go as the games get underway on August 28 in St Kitts & Nevis, with the final set for September 19.

“This year the tournament will take place in St Kitts & Nevis with all 33 matches being played at Warner Park. This follows on from the successful staging of the CPL in Trinidad & Tobago in 2020.

“In 2020 the tournament had a combined viewership of 523 million, an increase of 67% on 2019 with record value delivered to sponsors and commercial partners,” a CPL statement noted.

Again, included in the squads are a number of overseas players, namely:

Shakib al Hasan, Chris Morris, Faf du Plessis, Matthew Wade, Sandeep Lamichhane and Shoaib Malik. There are also spots for talented Pakistani players Haider Ali, Azam Khan and Usman Qadir and Englishman Samit Patel, who will be playing at his first Hero CPL.
