Think Jamaica!

Jamaica boasts a number of world class golf courses that any avid golfer would find a swing on not only thrilling, but delightful.
One of these golf courses is the Caymanas Golf Club. It was opened for play in 1957 and since that time has developed into magnificent parkland.
This championship golf course is nestled amongst the foothills of St. Catherine. Many of the tees and greens are elevated, providing scenic views of the course and the surrounding landscape.
The parkland-style course features an abundance of natural vegetation, including stately Cotton and Guango trees that line the undulating fairways and guard the greens.
Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards are situated throughout for added challenge. One of Caymanas Golf Club’s notable holes is the 12th hole, which is situated over 50 feet above a narrow fairway surrounded by dense foliage and limestone rock.
Jamaica’s tropical climate has made the golf course a stand out, and it is regarded by many to be the finest in Jamaica and ranked amongst the best in the Caribbean.
It offers an enjoyable and exacting test for golfers of all abilities. It is a favorite venue for golfers particularly those living and visiting Kingston.
The club features a number of amenities such as:
- Pro Shop
- Clubhouse
- Chipping Green
- Driving Range
- Golf School
The Caymanas Golf Club is certainly a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Kingston. Its easy access to the capital city which lies approximately 3 miles away also adds to its attraction.
