England is out of the running for a place in the final of the ICC World Test Championship.
The English men found themselves in a spot of bother after losing the third Test against India in Ahmedabad.
India whipped England by ten wickets to go up 2-1 in Test 3 of the four-match Test series.
England needed to win the four-match series 3-1 to play the 18-22 June final against New Zealand.
England has dropped to 64.1 percentage points on the points table, which India now leads with 71 percentage points.
New Zealand is assured of a place in the final with 70 percentage points.
India needs to either win or draw the last Test to stay ahead of Australia, who is in third place with 69.2 percentage points.
