COVID-19 Positivity Rate Rise To 37.9 Percent In Jamaica

The infections were confirmed from 2,688 samples, resulting in a positivity rate of 37.9 percent.

Hospitalizations from COVID-19 have declined by four to 74.

Two of the patients are severely ill and one is in critical condition.

Three more COVID-19-related deaths have been confirmed.

The deaths – two in St. Catherine and one in Westmoreland – occurred in August last year.

The death toll is now 3,021.
