COVID-19 Hospitalizations On The Rise In Jamaica

Covid-19 Hospitalizations in Jamaica increased by 16 on Monday to 114.

The Ministry of Health & Wellness has reported that nine patients are severely ill while four are in critical condition.

The country’s COVID-19 positivity rate has declined to 3.7 percent. 

Forty-one cases were confirmed from 1,102 samples.

The overall case count is 91,843.

Meanwhile, a 96-year-old woman from Kingston is the latest person to die from COVID-19 in Jamaica.

The country’s death toll from the virus is now 2,429.
