COVID-19 Death Count In Jamaica Now At 760

In the latest report,  four new Covid-19 related deaths have pushed Jamaica’s overall case count to 760.

The latest deaths include a 76-year-old man from St. Ann and a  79-year-old man from Hanover.

The other two are a 73-year-old man from St Catherine and an 86-year-old man from Trelawny.

Two more deaths are being investigated.

In the meantime, 137 cases were confirmed.

The number of COVID 19 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in Jamaica is now 45,004 of which 23,395 are active.

The positivity rate is now at 19.6 percent. 

There are 258 patients hospitalized with covid-19; among them 32 of them are deemed critically ill.
