Chris Gayle Set To Make Grammy Debut

Chris Gayle, Jamaica, and West Indies former cricket star and now a newly minted recording artist, is seeking to have his name etched in the annals of the Grammy.

The legendary batsman has committed to entering ‘The Tropical Houses Cruises to Jamaica: The Asian Edition’ album for consideration for nomination ahead of the 66th staging of the Grammy Awards in 2024.

The self-proclaimed Universe Boss is featured on the track ‘Gimme Your Love,’ with singer Shav A, the daughter of veteran singer Admiral Tibet.

Although not gaining much traction in the domestic market for his music, Gayle has gained overseas appeal, especially in the Indian subcontinent.

In an earlier report, Gayle said that he has yet to take his craft to the live stage, but fans will be seeing him soon.

He explains that he is from a country with a rich music history and is convinced that his new project can also be part of that narrative.

The former opening batsman noted he has accomplished much with the bat and is motivated to replicate past success in the field of music.
